Creating the Armature
What is an armature?
An armature is a framework around which the sculpture is built. This framework provides structure and stability, especially when a plastic material such as wax, paper mache, or plaster is being used as the medium.
Armatures can be made out of any materials that work but common materials are recyclables, tape, wire, wood, and cardboard.
