Assignment: 

Your assignment for this unit is to learn a variety of enamel techniques and learn to utilize enameled metal as components of final jewelry pieces. You will need to create three final jewelry pieces that incorporate enameling, combined with a variety of cold connection techniques. 

Objectives: 

1. Students will learn a variety of sifting techniques 

2. Students will learn to form metal 

3. Students will create a prong setting 

4. Students will connect enamel pieces with jump rings 

5. Students will rivet into enameled pieces of metal

Project #1: Enamel Pendant with Prong Setting 

Requirements: 

1. Piece needs to have at least two layers

2. One layer needs to be formed and enameled 

3. The backing layer needs to have prong settings
