Assignment

Your assignments is to create a origami crane and to use it as a object to draw from observation.

1. Using the video provided, fold the paper crane. You can practice this multiple times and help others at your table.

2. Spend the rest of the lesson drawing this crane from a variety of angles, giving attention to line weight and shadows. See the examples provided.

Drawing the Crane

Directions:
1. Use your finished crane as a drawing subject.

2. First begin by lightly outlining the edge of the planes

3. Add shading in areas of value
