Nature Sculpture
Assignment
Your assignment is to create a sculpture or a design out of found objects from nature. You will utilize strategies of repetition and balance. This is a temporary sculpture so you will document your work with a photograph.

Andy Goldsworthy is a British sculptor, photographer and environmentalist who produces site-specific sculptures and land art situated in natural and urban settings. He lives and works in Scotland.
Goldsworthy uses contrast, color, repetition, balance, and form in many of his pieces.

Consecutive tear drop forms, in different sizes.
Leaf, pinecone, leaf, pinecone etc.
Sketch
Explore nature and gather ideas of what you what to use for your design. Create a sketch of the form you want to create. Keep in mind how the color of the natural objects can be used to enhance your design. Upload a sketch of your plan. Sketch should include:
-Notes of materials you could use
-Drawings of of the forms you can make
-Designs should include symmetry and repetition.
Creation
If you haven't already started, you should be working on the final sculpture made out of natural materials. Photograph the final and upload it to Google Classroom. Keep in mind the photography techniques for uploading your work digitally because that will be part of the grading. Have fun!
