Clay Jewelry 

Assignment 

Create up to 10 beads out of clay. Design a texture into the beads. Make sure each bead has a hole. 

Directions 

Roll a flat piece of clay out or shape the bead with your fingers. You can cut the shape of your bead out from a flat slab of clay. Cut a hole in the bead and smooth. Carve or press a design or texture into your beads. Once bisque fired, you can glaze the beads with the color of your choice. Finish with a cord or jewelry finding to turn it into your desired jewelry piece.
